Majestic Wine is the UK’s largest specialist retailer of wine. The company employs over 1,000 staff nationwide across its 200+ stores. It operates throughout England, Wales and Scotland.

In line with their status as an essential retailer, across England, Wales and Scotland, it was important for the company to keep their stores open safely during the second national lockdown period. This relied on the urgent procurement of quality infection control and cleaning supplies enabling the company to effectively enhance their safety measures and better protect the health of their staff and customers.

We worked in partnership with Majestic Wine’s Central GNFR/Procurement department to speedily supply a range of high-quality infection control and cleaning products, including trusted PPE supplies, sanitiser, and wipes for sterilising and disinfecting hard surfaces. These were used in stores nationwide to protect their staff and customers and prevent of spread of covid-19.

2San were able to meet the company’s needs with speedy, multiple deliveries in the quantities they required, delivered to a central hub for them to distribute to different stores across the UK using their existing fleet. Through maintaining a flexible approach to order quantity and delivery, we were able to answer their need for multiple order fulfilment and better respond to the different demands of their variously-sized stores.
